Christmas Logistics Driver

NB: As part of this application, you'll be asked your availability and once you've applied, we'll assign you one or more shifts and will confirm these in plenty of time over email!

What is Caring at Christmas? It’s a pop-up day centre based at the Trinity Centre for people experiencing homelessness and in precarious housing situations – for example, people having to sleep rough, people currently living in hostels and temporary accommodation. From Christmas Eve, through to December 30th (daytime) we provide a warm and friendly environment, with breakfast, dinner, and resources including access to support and healthcare, a cinema, activities, and opportunities to socialise.

You’ll be using your driving skills in one of our vans to ensure the smooth running of the project, helping us transport items from our two sites. A perfect position for those who want to help out behind the scenes.

Responsibilities include:

• Transporting laundry between the Trinity Centre and our second site, Bristol Methodist Centre.
• Collecting dirty dishes and taking them to the Methodist Centre to be loaded into the dishwasher by the kitchen volunteers there
• Any other collection/delivery tasks as required
• Liaising with Shift leaders for all requirements
