Bristol Goods Deep Clean Volunteer

Caring in Bristol’s Food Project’s goal is to use food as vehicle to support people with experience of homelessness maintain their tenancy. Through a variety of interventions, the project aims to support people in the areas of community integration, financial stability, knowledge of available services, confidence and self-esteem, and food security.

This role consists of giving our warehouse space (fridges, food stores, cool boxes) a deep clean to make sure the space stays hygienic. Cleaning products will be supplied by Caring in Bristol. The role is under the supervision of our Project Manager or Project Coordinator and involves no direct service-user contact.

NB: This role involves some heavy lifting of crates of food items and may not be suitable for those who may be infirm or pregnant
